The idea supports a belief that - regular usage of beauty and skincare products can overburden your skin and lead to congestion, irritation, and dependency. Our skin is innately intelligent. And when it is left untouched, it repairs the barriers, regulates oil production, and goes back to better balance.

Skipping sunscreen and exposing skin to sun rays is never a good idea. This can exacerbate hyperpigmentation and hasten aging. Additionally, discontinuing active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid suddenly could make acne worse before it gets better if you have acne-prone skin.
