Eye Allergy And Home Remedies To Cure It

This allergy is mostly caused due to faulty use of eyes cosmetics, contact lenses, exposure to flower pollen, dust, pet hair etc. A lot of eye allergy is also caused as a result of an ongoing disease. On many occasions, fever, sun rashes etc, get carried to your eye.
At the time of any kind of illness our immune system is already weak and at this time, our eyes overreacts to a substance as potential danger which in reality may be not the case. This erupts allergic reactions.
The symptoms of eye allergy include redness, itching, inflammation, watering and collection of excess mucus at the corners of the eyes. Some time it may also be accompanies by headache, sneezing and dizziness. A lot of oral and external eye medication are present but is best to be taken under doctors advice. Here are some of the home remedies for eye allergy.
1.Boil water and leave it to become luke warm and mix salt in it. Then with the help of cotton, wipe your eyes with it. This will lessen the swelling and also help in removing impurities from your eyes.
2.Rose water has always been good for eye infection. 2-3 drops of rose water in the eyes treats the infection effectively within 3 days time.
3.Mix one spoon of gooseberry powder with honey and consume it before going to bed. This mixture increases the immunity of the body towards the infection. This takes around a weeks time cure.
4.Cayenne – Cayenne is a herb. Cayenne improves blood circulation and aids in releasing toxins thus, resulting in the cleansing of the eye.
5.Eyebright – Eyebright is a herb which treats infected tissues as it is a natural antiseptic. If this is taken along with Cayenne, it works instantly on the infection
6.Bayberry Bark – Bayberry Bark has healing properties and has the ability to reduce pain and inflammation. It also checks the excretion of eye mucus and water.
Home Remedies work on eye allergy at a early stage and cures it within a weeks time but it should also be taken under the advice of the doctor. For more serious eye allergy, it better to take doctor prescribed medicines.
