Birth control pills and patches are necessary to stop unwanted or unplanned pregnancies. Now women can get the Pill directly off the internet. DrThom has launched a new internet service for women to order supply of The Pill
This contraceptive service is only for women aged 18 and over who are currently using or have recently used the routine contraceptive pill. According to the company patients will have to complete a health questionnaire. Doctors of the company will assess the answers and, if appropriate, prescribe and post the pill that has been requested.
One need to know about the possible side-effects of the pill before use. Like any medicine, the contraceptive pill can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or an allergic rash. It can also cause blood clots in the legs or lungs, raised blood pressure and it can increase your risk of breast cancer, according to the company. This medicine should also not be taken by pregnant women
