Take 2 teaspoons of Amla with water early in the morning before breakfast.

"Triphala" literally means three fruits. It is a powdered combination of Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica) and Haritaki (Terminalia chebula). Proper digestion and elimination of wastes is fundamental to maintaining and lessening the present body weight. This is where Triphala comes in handy, as it helps in proper bowel movements. Moreover, it harmonizes the body function by bolstering the reproductive, cardiovascular and urinary systems of the body. Take 1/2 a teaspoon of Triphala in lukewarm water, stir well and have it when it is still warm. It is best if this powder is taken first thing in the morning.

It increases the metabolic rate by thermogenic action, which aids in weight loss. One must consume 2-3 teaspoons of turmeric daily. However, one must refrain consuming it on an empty stomach.

It is especially effective for the treatment of loose skin post weight loss.

Guggul, also called Commiphora wightii, is a flowering plant which is extremely effective when it comes to losing body fat. However, it is extremely scarce and is an endangered species. Guggul naturally induces the production of two important thyroid hormones namely triiodothyronine or T3 and thyroxine or T4. These hormones have a thermogenic effect and increase the metabolism. Guggul is available in the market in the form of guggulsterone supplements. For weight loss, 30-60 mg of guggulsterone supplements should be taken three times daily.
