2. Fibroids After Menopause: You will be prone to lumpy breasts and fibroids in your uterine tract post menopause. Fibroids are usually benign tumours. They are very tiny and grow in and around the uterus. It is common to have these fibroids even before menopause but they seem to multiply rapidly after menopause. A fibroid that grows in size enormously in a short period of time increases the chances of cancer many fold. Sharp pains, a heaviness around the pelvic region and frequent urination are symptoms of this condition.

3. Women Specific Cancer After Menopause: There is an rise in the instances of cancer of female organs among women after menopause. Be it breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer or uterus can, they all seem to attack menopausal 50 something women. This is because when the reproductive and sexual function of these organs are over after menopause they tend to become cancerous due to sloth.

4. Blood Pressure and Heart Condition After Menopause: The connection between menopause and blood pressure is quite clear. Hormonal disbalance and also prescription of hormone tablets during this time makes you put on weight. You also become more reactive to salt because your entire system is in turmoil. As the blood pressure increases so does the risks to your heart.

It better to increase the frequency of routine check ups like mammography and ultrasound scans after menopause to stay safe.
