1.The first use of bitter gourd for diabetes control is due to a natural steroid called charantin. Charantin directly leads to lowering blood sugan level.
2.The oleanolic acid glucosides improves the sugar tolerance in the blood, thus maintaing the correct blood sugar level and restricting insulin to be absorbed by the pancreas.
3.Bitter gourd diabetes control is also because it gathers the excess sugar in the blood stream and helps the body to break it down without increasing the sugar level.
4.Bitter Gourd which lowers the excess sugar in the blood also helps it to be used by the body in the right way, without resulting in fat accumulation.
