Do Men Who Listen to Their Wives Succeed More? What Research Really Says
63-Year-Old US Man's ‘Foreceful' Sneeze Leads To Colon Fall Out, Here's What Doctors Found Next!
A US man's colon was reinserted into his body after it fell out due to a forceful sneeze. The 63-year-old was having breakfast with his wife when it happened. His miraculous medical recovery is documented in a new article published by the American Journal of Medical Case Reports.
In the study, Researchers found that "During breakfast, the man sneezed forcefully, followed by coughing. He immediately noticed a 'wet' sensation and pain in his lower abdomen. He observed several loops of pink bowel protruding from his recent surgical site."

Paramedics who arrived at the scene noted a "3-inch vertical laceration with large amounts of bowel" poking through it. He had not lost much blood and was quickly taken to a local hospital. The Emergency Department immediately consulted the Urology service.
History Of Prostrate Cancer
The man had previously battled prostate cancer and underwent abdominal surgery. On the morning of the incident, he had sutures removed. His wife called for an ambulance while he covered the exposed intestines with his shirt.
Prostate cancer is a prevalent form of cancer that affects men, primarily occurring in the prostate gland-a small, walnut-sized gland located below the bladder and in front of the rectum. While prostate cancer often develops slowly and may not cause noticeable symptoms in its early stages, it can become more aggressive over time if left untreated.
The choice of treatment for prostate cancer depends on various factors, including the stage and aggressiveness of the cancer, the individual's overall health and preferences, and potential side effects of treatment.
Emergency Medical Care And Post Surgery Recovery
Vital signs were within normal limits. Pre-operative blood tests were unchanged from recent comparisons. The patient consented to an exploratory laparotomy, and a nasogastric tube was inserted. Three urological surgeons closed the abdomen with figure-of-eight stitches to ensure it remained intact.
He stayed in the hospital for six days and was on a normal diet before discharge. His recovery process was smooth and miraculous, to say the least.
