Sonia Gandhi, the former president of the Congress Party has a portrayal in Yatra 2 and her role is played by German actor Suzanne Bernert along with Malayalam actor Mammootty in the role of YSR and Tamil actor Jiiva in the role of Jaganmohan Reddy!

Suzanne Bernert predominantly works in Bollywood films and has previously appeared in various ads, TV serials, movies, and web series. She was the wife of the late actor Akhil Mishra (3 Idiots fame) who died earlier this year.
In the movie Yatra 2, Suzanne Bernert will be seen playing the role of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and from the released poster of the movie, one can find a sharp resemblance between the actor and the Congress leader.
