Lakme Fashion Week 2023: Kalki Koechlin Channels 60’s Hippie Fashion For Esha L Amin
Lakme Fashion Week 2023 is a show that keeps giving – its got the future, present and the past interwoven in its essence this year, and Kalki Koechlin’s look by Eshaa Amiin is the perfect example.

The wild curls, popping colours, hip hugger stripped bell-bottom jeans, chunky sweaters and fussy styling immediately remind you of the Hippies of the 60s.
Kalki carried the look with such ease that one may even overlook the lack of togetherness the pop of colours failed to bring in. While the hippies of the 60's style have very little to do with being put-together, Kalki's look lacked something we can't quite put our fingers on - or maybe it didn't lack - but had a bit too much?
One wouldn't say the look was a disaster, but to expect more from Eshaa Amiin who also styles celebrities such as Karthik Aryan, Ishaan Khattar, and Karishma Kapoor is not a crime.
To say Kalki carried the look would be a modest statement - and it may not have been the case if it were to be someone else, IMO.
Let's take a look at Eshaa Amiin's designs from the Lakme Fashion Week 2023.

Kalki really embraced the 60's Hippies - a reflection of few of her characters in Bollywood movies.

The stripes, cropped top, popping net gloves, strikingly purple earring, unruly hair takes us to Woodstock!
