Birthday Special: Different Shades Of Angry Young Man AKA Amitabh Bachchan
Happy 73rd Birthday Mr.Amitabh Bachchan -- The one and only. He is the man of many colours. Since decades, he has served Indian cinema with his charming personality and beguiling voice. With a grace so lively and a personality that still lures thousands, I can't believe he turned 73 this year.
And may he live many more years to come complimenting Indian cinema with his dynamite personality. 73 is a great number to call for a big bash, however, Mr. Bachchan wanted to keep it simple and is spending a quiet day with family. Yes, the man who is known for sending a truck full of roses, and gifting gold chains just for mere congratulations is spending a quiet day with his loved ones. Nonetheless, we have decided to give our favorite Angry Young man a toast in the form of an article, looking through his shades of characters in Bollywood, so here we go:
The Haughty Gangster In Sarkar: A character which added one more feather to his hat. An authoritative and righteous Subhash Nagre was well received by audiences and as well as the critics. The black kurtas, rudraksh beads and the red tilak on the forehead was enough to establish him the godfather of Mumbai.

The Little Boy In Paa: This was a very demanding role. Mr. Bachchan played the role of a 12-year-old boy.He was naughty, funny and lovable. He looked picture perfect in his school boy shirt and tie. Also, occasionally sported dungarees in the movie.

The Eccentric Teacher In Black: This was also one of the great performances by Mr. Bachchan. Debraj Sahai, an eccentric teacher, of a blind and deaf girl. He mostly donned a watchman cap and scarves. His entire attire was mostly in shades of 'black' and gray.

The Bengali Dad In Piku: Recently, AB was cast alongside Deepika Padukone as her constipated father in the movie Piku. In the movie, AB sports hats, cotton kurtas and vest jackets. He looks adorable in that typical Bengali wardrobe while he complains about his constipation.

So, did you enjoy shades of Mr.Amitabh Bachchan? Well, we did. Wishing a very happy birthday once again.
