Anaita Shroff Adajania Rejuvenates Shraddha's Looks For Half Girlfriend

Shraddha Kapoor can be seen wearing designs by Anaita Shroff Adajania for her upcoming film Half Girlfriend. No need to mention, she is looking awesome!

In all the songs and in the trailer, Shraddha's look is mesmerising and it is actually hard to get our eyes off her. This is for the first time this actor-designer duo has been involved in one film. After Dear Zindagi, we can see Anaita pairing up with another evolving top-notch actress of Bollywood, Shraddha Kapoor.

We must accept, we loved Aliah's costumes in Dear Zindagi. Again, the designer who loves experimenting with summer hues and bohemian patterns has applied her magic to rejuvenate the beauty and style of Shraddha.

The off-shoulder tops, the long shrugs, floral kurtis and the pair-up with kurti and shorts are typical signature pieces of Anaita Shroff Adajania. Her designed outfits glorify the beauty of the person in it. Aliah has been there, and now we see how beautiful Shraddha looks and the ease with which she is able to carry each of the dresses so well.

We have chosen a few of the best looks of Shraddha as seen in the promo videos.

Long shrugs: We all went crazy for long shrugs after seeing Aliah wearing a couple of them for Dear Zindagi. All fashion victims rushed to malls or online retail stores searching for long shrugs. Sarojini for Delhites, Hill Road for Mumbaikars and Commercial for Bengalureans became a haul-zone for girls with less heavy purses.

We can see Shraddha wearing a black long shrug for one of her songs of Half Girlfriend. Has she not managed to look as bohemic as ever, teaming the black and white long shrug with the cowboy hat and those pretty pair of boots? We think she looks amazing!

The floral shorts Shraddha is wearing for a basketball match sequence shown in the videos have grabbed many eyes already. Some people already had their jaws dropping too.

Off-shoulder tops: Three off-shoulder tops have been shown during the trailer and the music video sequences. Seems like off-shoulders are Anaita's design favourites. She has teamed it up with denim jeans and shorts. We think Shraddha looks beautiful in them. Exactly the girl-next-door look.

The summer-college look: Be it kurtis, plain or floral printed dresses, or a plain pair of jeans and kurti, Shraddha has rocked all of it. The bright and jovial look of a college girl is portrayed through Shraddha's outfits in Half Girlfriend. The white tube dress is our favourite. She looks too pretty in it especially with the hairband.

Party dresses: The party dresses designed by Anaita for Shraddha in Half Girlfriend are really mesmerising. She looks very classy in the pair of the silver A-line skirt and the white spaghetti blouse. Some real wardrobe goals, eh?

Floral designs: This has been one of Anaita's staple ones too. The look hits the screen again, but this time on Shraddha. We have seen many looks of Shraddha with floral designed dresses, kurtis and shorts. Oh yes, the shorts are our favourite. This one is distinct from all the other outfits.

We feel Shraddha carried off all the dresses as shown in the videos with a lot of ease. What we have failed to understand is her Lady Gaga look with the denim outfit, pink bob-cut hair and all those tattoos done on her arm. The look is not fitting her at all. Might be some scripting necessities. Have to wait for the movie to know that.
