Beyond Makhan Chor: 10 Lesser-Known Stories From Krishna's Childhood
Alia Bhatt And Athiya Shetty Wow Us With Their Nature-Inspired Outfits; Take A Look

With their stunning nature-inspired outfits, Alia Bhatt and Athiya Shetty looked a class apart this Diwali. They ditched the embellishments and on the contrary, inspired us with simple motifs of life. While Alia looked amazing in her lehenga, Athiya wowed us with her saree. They were both styled by Ami Patel and we have decoded their outfits for you.

Alia Bhatt's Lehenga
Alia Bhatt looked pretty in her Madhurya lehenga, which she wore for Diwali celebrations. The Raazi actress had all our attention with her attire that featured a collection of drawings made by 35 children studying in free AOL Schools. Each panel of the lehenga represented a part of Earth with two poles, deserts, seas, oceans, waterfalls, tropical rainforests, river-beds, and even solar system. The name of the children and kaarigars are embroidered on the lehenga. Splashed in a soft pink hue with a slightly darker pink dupatta, Alia was a sight to behold in her lehenga. She spruced up her look with oxidised silver bracelets and complementing jhumkis. The makeup was highlighted by light-pink lip shade, subtle kohl, and a tiny red bindi. The middle-parted highlighted ponytail completed her look.

Athiya Shetty's Saree
Athiya Shetty took our breath away with her stunning pristine white saree that was highlighted by colourful nature-inspired patterns. Designed by Rahul Mishra, Athiya Shetty exuded dreamy vibes with her beautifully-draped saree. Well, she made us want to invest in this saree right away. The actress teamed her ensemble with a round-necked blouse that was half-sleeved and went well with her saree. She wore metallic bangles that went well with her saree. Athiya also wore gemstone hoops, which came from Mahesh Notandass Fine Jewellery. The makeup was highlighted by light pink lip shade and contoured cheekbones. The eye makeup was light and elevated her look and the sleek middle-parted tresses completed her traditional avatar.
So, whose Diwali fashion look did you like the most? Let us know that.
