The Indian Textile Industry is holding one of the world's largest textiles events -Bharat Tex 2024! The thoughtful event is being conducted to promote India as a global textile hub that produces the finest goods and objects crafted by Indian artisans.

This noble initiative celebrated India's skilled craftsmanship and artistry with the help of ideas, innovation, skills, and teamwork. With "Make in India" purposes, the global event celebrates Indian artistry and emerges as a global textile powerhouse!

Promoting Farm to Fashion Route

The global textile event is scheduled to take place in New Delhi from February 26 to February 29, 2024. As per the press conference statement declared by the Ministry of Textiles, Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister of Textiles, Consumer Affairs, Commerce and Industry, and Food and Public Distribution, the event was unveiled during a curtain raiser at the Vanijya Bhavan in New Delhi.

The Bharat Tex 2024 promotes the 5F vision of India that promotes the rule of - Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign. The Indian textiles and handloom industry event defines India's plan to promote the finest textile creation not just in the country but globally. Ministry of Textiles Mr Piyush Goyal stated that this textiles event is formed not only to support "Brand India" but also the internationally applaudable textiles brands across the globe!

Finest Indian Textiles and Artistry

Indian textiles have a diverse heritage that reflects the country's cultural and artistic traditions. Renowned for their vibrant colours, intricate patterns, and exquisite craftsmanship, Indian textiles include a wide range of fabrics such as silk, cotton, wool, and jute. Traditional weaving techniques like handloom and block printing have been passed down through generations, contributing to the distinctiveness of each region's textile production.

Whether it's the intricate Banarasi silk sarees, the colourful tie-dye of Bandhani, or the ornate embroidery of Kantha, Indian textiles showcase the country's craftsmanship and aesthetic sensibilities, making them highly sought after in the global design industry!

Bharat Tex 2024 Event Plans

The prime purpose of Bharat Tex 2024 is to feature the Indian textile industry as a competent and competitive globally responsible sourcing hub. The textile event will include informative sessions, seminars, conferences, B2B and G2G meetings, and CEO roundtables and will announce new product launches, investments and international collaborations that will take the Indian textile industry to another level, The global textile event will have active participation of over 1000 exhibitors and around 30,000 guest from over 40 countries.

The biggest textile event by the government of India will include influential figures from the Indian and international textile industries and highlight the features, advantages, innovations and future opportunities that India plans to offer to buyers and global investors.
