Chili Paneer
Ingredients:
For Coating:
500 GMS. Paneer
3 Green chilies, finely chopped
1 tbsp Soya Sauce
2 tbsp Maida (all purpose flour, plain flour)
1 tbsp Corn flour powder
Oil for frying
White pepper powder a pinch
Salt according to taste
For the Sauce:
1 1/2 tbsp Spring onions
1 tbsp Garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp Soya Sauce
1 tbsp Cornflour mixed with water
2 green chilies finely Chopped
White pepper powder A pinch
Salt according to taste
Method:
Cut the paneer in cubes or triangles and then sprinkle maida (all purpose flour, plain flour), cornflour, finely chopped green chilies, pepper powder and Soya sauce and mix well.
Fry the paneer pieces in hot oil and put the pieces on tissue paper, so as it absorbs the oil.
For the sauce, heat oil in a pan, add the spring onions and garlic pieces and fry for sometime, then add the green chilies.
Pour Soya sauce, pepper powder, salt according to taste.
Add some water in the pan and once it starts boiling, add corn flour paste and paneer pieces and cook for a few minutes.
Remove from the fire and serve.
