Bharwa Tinda Recipe – Spicy Side Dish
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg apple gourd (washed, peeled)
- Pinch of asafoetida
- 1 tbsp oil
Filling:
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp fennel powder
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt according to taste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- Pinch of garam masala
How To Make Bharwa Tinda?
1. In a bowl add all the filling ingredients and mix well.
2. Slice the tindas criss cross and fill the masala.
3. Fry asafoetida with a teaspoon of oil in a pan and add the tindas, cook on simmer until lightly brown. Tasty bharwa tinda can be enjoyed with hot rotis.
