Spanish Rice Recipe For Dinner
This evening, Boldsky wants you to try something different. You might have heard of the famous Spanish rice that has colourful veggies and other ingredients that will make you drool. Being a popular rice recipe, Boldsky would love for you to prepare this at dinner.
Being an easy rice recipe, it does not involve too much of time too. The best thing about this Spanish rice recipe is that it tastes wonderful when you add diced chicken to it. If you are a vegetarian, you can add soy sauce to this dish to enhance the taste.

Here is the Spanish rice recipe you can try out this evening for dinner:
Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients
- Rice - 2 cups
- Onion - 1 (chopped)
- Butter - ½ cup
- Tomatoes - 2 (chopped)
- Water - 3 cups
- Garlic - 2 (smashed)
- Cloves - 2
- Red Chillies - 2 (sliced)
- Pepper - 1 pinch
- Cheese - ½ cup (shredded)
- Cherries - 6
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Procedure
- Pour a little oil in a round-bottmed pan, on a medium flame. Allow the oil to get hot and when hot drop in the chopped onions and fry till it turns a golden brown colour.
- When the onions are fried, add in the butter to the pan and mix it continuously till it melts completely with the onions.
- Add in the garlic to the onions and fry them.
- When the garlic blends well with the onions, add in the rice and fry it for about 4 to 5 minutes. Toast the rice in the mixture is in the pan.
- Now add in the diced tomatoes, pepper, cloves and the red chillies. Fry them well with the rice.
- When the ingredients have blended with the rice, pour in the water and allow it to cook for a few minutes. Bring it to a boil and then reduce the flame.
- Cover the pan with a lid and allow it to cook for about 20 minutes or so.
- After the rice is cooked well, sprinkle a little salt to taste over the rice and stir well.
- Shred the cheese over the hot rice and garnish it with the cherries.
Your Spanish rice is now ready to eat. A small tip - make sure you add a side dish to this delicious Spanish rice.
