Pomegranate Curd Rice Recipe

Pomegranate Curd Rice Recipe

Serves: 3
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • Rice- 1 cup
  • Curd- 1 cup (beaten)
  • Milk- 1½ cup
  • Pomegranate- 1 cup
  • Water- ½ cup
  • Salt- as per taste

Procedure

  • Wash the rice in fresh water until clean.
  • Now pour rice in a deep bottomed pan and boil it with milk and water on a low flame till the rice is completely cooked.
  • Let it cool for few minutes.
  • Now add the curd, salt, pomegranate and a little water (if required to get the desired consistency). Mash well.
  • Now refrigerate the pomegranate curd rice for 30-45 minutes. Serve it chilled.
