Chilly Mushroom
Talk about Chinese food and you have endless non vegetarian recipes in mind – chilly chicken, pepper chicken, chicken manchurian, prawn rice etc. However, there are a few vegetarian delicacies too. Why not try out something different today?
Ingredients
Onions - 2
Capsicum - 2
Mushroom – 1 packet
(cottage cheese) – 500 grams
Greem Chillies – 4 or 5
Vinegar – 1 teaspoon
Soya Sauce – 2 tablespoon
Salt – According to taste
Red Chillie Powder – According to taste
How To Prepare
Wash the onions and capsicum and slice them into thin long pieces
Slit the mushrooms into halves
Cut the mushroom into small cubes
Take a pan and heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil (you can also use any refine cooking oil)
Add the onions and stir fry till golden brown
Add the capsicum and mushrooms
Add salt and red chilly powder and mix well
Cover the pan with a lid and cook it on low fire
After 5 minutes, add the mushroom cubes
Mix vinegar and soya sauce and let it cook till the mushroom becomes soft
Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
