Ingredients:
1 Kg. Tomatoes
50 gms. Tamarind
Salt to taste
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 cup Chilli Powder
For Seasoning :
1tsp. Urad Dal
1tsp. Bengal Gram
5 - 6 chutney,garden plants,non vegetarian recipes,chutney,garden plants,red chillies,turmeric,vegetarian recipes,turmeric
Few Curry Leaves
10 - 12 Garlic Pods
Method:
Mix chopped tomatoes with salt and turmeric powder and keep it overnight. The next day squeeze the tomatoes, keep the squeezed tomato juice aside.
Dry the tomato pulp in the sun. Soak tamarind in the tomato juice.
In the evening grind the dried tomatoes, garlic, chilly powder, tamarind water, salt to a paste. Add the seasoning. Mix well.
Store in airtight containers.
