Banana Idli Recipe For A Breakfast Treat
The sweet yellow banana, is a highly nutritious fruit rich in proteins. It can now be added to idli batter to make hot banana idlis. This banana idli recipe is every child's favourite since the contents consist of the sweet ripe banana. Breakfast, which is important for every child and adult can now be made special with the help of recipes like these which will surely make your day.

Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
Rava - 1 cup
Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Ripe bananas - 3-4 (mashed up)
Salt - a pinch
Sugar/ Brown Sugar/Jaggery - 1/2 cup (or to taste)
Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Method
1. First you need to mash the bananas with the help of a masher.
2. Add rava, grated coconut, salt, sugar and baking soda. Mix the ingredients well.
3. Add a little water to make an idli batter.
4. Grease the idli moulds with ghee and pour a spoonful of batter in each.
5. Steam the mixture for 15 minutes in a pressure cooker.
Your banana idli is now ready to serve. It is best to eat this yummy sweet treat with a little milk.
