The recipe for caramel custard does not have too many ingredients to confuse you. It is a thanksgiving dessert recipe that can be turned out within half an hour even after you come back from work.
Ingredients For Caramel Custard:
1. Sugar fine powder-' cup
2. Eggs-3
3. Milk-2 cups
4. Sugar granulated-' cup
5. Vanilla essence-2 drops
Procedure For Caramel Custard:
- First of all, you need to prepare the caramel. The caramel is prepared by caramelising sugar or to put it simply, burning sugar.
- Heat a deep pan to very high temperatures until it starts steaming. Roast the granulated sugar on this hot pan with a sprinkling of water. If need be keep it for a few minutes on low flame but the heat from the pan can also be enough.
- Meanwhile beat eggs, milk and the powdered sugar together into a thick mixture. Add a couple of drops of vanilla essence for flavour.
- Take the mold for the custard (you can also use a bowl of appropriate shape) and drench it with caramel on all sides. Pour the batter into this bowl.
- You need to cover it with aluminum foil and cook for 20 minutes on low flame. Don't count whistles because too much heat can make the mixture blow up.
- You can also cook it in the microwave for 30 minutes on 60 percent power. Refrigerate it and serve when cool after pouring the left over caramel on it.
