Homemade Chocolate Recipe For V Day!
A basic Valentine's recipe for for chocolates needs nothing more than 20 minutes to make and freeze. This easy chocolate recipe has no frills but you add some and it will still take just about half hour to prepare delicious chocolates for your beloved on V Day.
Ingredients For Homemade Chocolates:
1. Sugar up to 1 cup (depends on how sweet you want your chocolates)
2. Milk powder or dairy whitener 1 cup
3. Water 3/4th cup
4. Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons (it could be dark or just plain)
5. Butter 50 grams (room temperature)
6. Molds for chocolates 10 to 15 (interesting shapes like heart, star etc.)
7. Nuts handful (optional)
8. Vanilla essence 2 drops
Procedure For Making Homemade Chocolates:
- Heat water and sugar on medium flame for 5 minutes until the sugar syrup becomes thick and uniform.
- Remove it from flame and add the milk powder to it. Stir till it mixes up and do it fast while the syrup is still boiling hot.
- Mix the cocoa powder into the mixture and pour the butter over it. Add few drops of vanilla essence for flavour.
- You can use an electronic blender to whip up the thick mixture for your chocolates.
- You can drop in a few dry fruits or nuts just make sure they are not too large. Chop them up if necessary.
- Spoon this mixture into the molds and deep freeze the molds for at least 20 minutes.
You can remove them into a serving plate or box and serve homemade chocolates to your Valentine on V Day.
