Chocolate Walnut Cupcakes For Beginners: Microwave Recipe
When it comes to cupcakes, age doesn't matter. Cupcakes are loved by kids and adults alike. We are sure that even you are getting tempted to run to the shop and get your favourite cupcake for yourself now. But what if we tell you that you don't need to run to a cake shop anymore to get your favourite cupcake? Yes, you can prepare it in your own microwave at home!
Chocolate walnut cupcakes are relished by almost everyone. Most of us don't even think about making chocolate walnut cupcakes at home. It is much easier to rush to a cake shop and buy some yummy chocolate cupcakes. However, if you come to know how easy it is to prepare this easy chocolate walnut cupcake recipe, then it will surely attract your interest.

You just need to own a microwave oven and the cupcake moulds for the preparation. Rest we are here to help you out with the procedure. Take a look at this chocolate walnut cupcake recipe for beginners that can be easily prepared in a microwave oven.

All you need
- Maida (all purpose flour)- 3/4 cup
- Powdered sugar- 3/4 cup
- Cocoa/chocolate powder- 1tbsp
- Vanilla essence- 1tsp
- Crushed walnuts- 2tsp
- Baking powder- 1tsp
- Eggs- 2
- Oil- 1/4 cup + 1tsp

Procedure
1. Beat the eggs in a bowl till they are fluffy. You can use an electric beater to beat the eggs.
2. Once the eggs become fluffy, add the vanilla essence to it and then beat it again for 1 minute.
3. Then add the powdered sugar slowly and keep beating it so that no lumps are formed. Beat the batter continuously for two minutes.
4. Then add the oil and beat it again for 2 minutes.
5. Now add the maida and keep beating to avoid lumps. The batter should become smooth.

6. Add the cocoa powder and the baking powder. Beat it for 3-4 minutes.
7. Finally, add the crushed walnuts and mix it well for 5-6 minutes till the batter is completely smooth and ready to bake.
10. Preheat the microwave on convection mode on 170 degrees for 3 minutes. Close the door while preheating.

11. Once done, put the mould on the microwave tray and set the timer for 15 minutes at 170 degrees.
12. After 15 minutes, check the cupcakes if they are perfectly done with the help of a toothpick. Prick the cake deep with a toothpick and take it out. If the toothpick comes out clean then your cupcake is ready. If the cake sticks to the tooth pick then bake it for another 2 minutes.
13. Once done, allow the cupcakes to cool down for 10 minutes. Then use a knife to take the cupcake out of the mould. You may decorate it with the icing of your choice.

Your cupcakes are ready to be served. Pour chocolate sauce over it to make it more interesting. Enjoy your weekend with this simple sweet treat.
