Vegetable Cutlet: An Easy Snacks Recipe
Vegetable cutlet is a yummy snacks recipe that can be easily made at home with a very few ingredients. This cutlet recipe is awesome to be savoured on a fine morning or evening. A vegetable cutlet is a healthy, tasty and nutritious snack. If any one in the family does not like having vegetables, then there is no need to worry. You can easily make them have it with this cutlet recipe.
Vegetable cutlet is a very popular vegetarian recipe all over the world. It is highly preferred as a snack. Take a bite into this vegetable cutlet to have a taste of delight this season. You just need some vegetables, spices, cornflour and vegetable oil to accomplish this cutlet recipe. Try this vegetarian recipe and make everyone happy with its awesome taste.

Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes
Ingredients
- Carrots- 1 cup (finely grated)
- Potatoes- 1 ½ cup (boiled and cut into small pieces)
- Peas- 1 cup
- Lemon Juice- 2tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder- ½ tbsp
- Onions- Half cup (finely chopped)
- Green Chillies- 2 (finely chopped)
- Ginger Garlic Paste- 1tbsp
- Groundnut- Half cup
- Turmeric Powder- ½ tbsp
- Cornflour- 1-2 cups
- Biscuit Powder- 2cups
- Vegetable Oil- 1-2 cups
- Salt- To taste
Procedure
- Take a medium sized bowl and add the carrots, potatoes and peas to it. Add the lemon juice, red chilli powder and some salt to it. Mix well and keep aside.
- Take a frying pan over the gas oven and add 7-8tbsp of vegetable oil to it. Keep it on a medium flame.
- Add the onions to the same pan. Fry over a low flame until they turn golden brown.
- Add green chillies, groundnut, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder to the pan. Fry on a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add the carrots, potato and peas mixture to the same pan and fry on a low flame for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the gas oven.
- Take a handful of the mixture and make small and flat shapes with your hand. Keep them aside.
- Take the corn flour in a small container, add some water to it and mix well. Keep the biscuit powder in another one.
- Now keep another frying on over the gas oven and add the remaining vegetable oil to it. Keep on a medium flame.
- Take the small flat shaped vegetable mix and dip them first into the cornflour mix and then in the biscuit powder. Now deep fry them one by one in the frying pan with oil until the sides turn brown.
- Strain the extra oil and keep the vegetable cutlets on a tissue paper.
Serve the vegetable cutlets with sauce or a salad.
