Grilled Salmon: Indian Style Recipe
A BBQ party is always a welcoming thought. You can enjoy some juicy steaks and party with close ones as well. We all know that grilling is a healthy way of cooking. That is why the whole world is consciously trying to move towards grilling instead of frying. Grilling is considered healthy because you can cook food with minimal oil using this method. Whatever extra oil is there gets drained away.
When you grill meat, it doesn't require much oil and cooks in its own fat. It takes very less time for cooking and retains all the vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients of the meat, vegetables and fruits. There are lots of healthy grilled foods like fish, prawns, and vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes, onions, bell peppers, zucchini, eggplant and fruits like pineapple, mango, apple and pear.
We all know that salmon is one of the best fish which is healthy and nutritious. Consuming salmon is said to protect us from various diseases related to heart, eyes and also our nervous system. The rich Omega-3 fatty acids found in the fish, plays an important role in protecting our body from several diseases and infections. So, for fish especially salmon lovers, here is a juicy grilled chicken Indian style recipe which tastes yummy.

Ingredients
- Salmon fillets- 3 (washed)
- Ginger-garlic paste- 2tsp
- Lemon juice- 1tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Black pepper powder- a pinch
- Salt- as per taste
- Olive oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
- Marinate the salmon fillets with ginger garlic paste and lemon juice.
- Now add all the remaining ingredients namely red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt. Mix well with your hand.
- Marinate the salmon fillets for 30 minutes.
- Now oil and preheat grill on medium-high flame. Coat the fish fillets with olive oil and grill.
- Grill on one side for about 5 minutes. Coat a little olive oil with the brush. Flip and cook on the other side as well.
- Once grilled, remove the fillets and keep on a plate.
Garnish the grilled salmon with dry herbs and spices like chilli flakes, basil and cumin seeds powder. Serve grilled salmon with salad or with tomato sauce.
