Ramzan Special: Badam Harira Drink
During Ramzan season you would want to slake your thirst with a great drink. Today, we here to share the recipe for the Ramzan special Badam Harira drink! This nutritious drink is made of almonds.
Almonds are very nutritious and it should be included in your daily diet. We can eat them raw or include them in various recipes. As Badam Harira is rich in calcium and proteins, it is advisable for new mothers as well.
Usually this Badam Harira is a Ramadan drink but it can be enjoyed through out the year and it is the best when it is served hot and tastes absolutely delicious. If you are not happy with the hot drink then just chill it for a while and enjoy it.
Include this Badam Harira drink before and after your fast. It would fill you with energy. You can serve it after meals or any time during the day to your kids and family to give them a perfect nutrition.
Health Benefits Of Honey & Milk
Serves: 4
Preparation time: 5 mins.
Cooking time: 20 mins.

You will need
Ghee- 1 tsp
Maida- 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 ltr
Almond Powder - 4 tbsp
Saffron - few strands
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Dry fruits & Rose petals for garnishing

Procedure
Heat the ghee in a pan
Add maida to the pan and fry for 2 min.
Add milk to the pan and bring it to a boil.
Once the milk starts to boil add the almond powder and saffron strands.
Cook for 10-15 mins.
Add sugar and cook for another 2 min.
Garnish with dry fruit slivers and rose petals.
Pour in serving glasses & serve hot.
Nutritional Tip: As this drink is made using almonds and milk, it is very nutritious and rich in calcium.
Tip: You can make a variation using any other dry fruit powder other than almonds.
