Prawn Masala Curry: Indian Style

Prawn masala curry, Indian style recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 kg prawn
- 5 chopped onions
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- ginger garlic paste
- 3-5 chopped green chillies
- coriander powder
- red chilli powder
- garam masala
- curry leaves
- turmeric powder
- 1 bay leaf
- mustard seeds
- cumin seeds
- lime juice
- salt
- tomato ketchup
- water
- oil
Directions to prepare prawn masala curry recipe:
1. Remove the skin and clean the prawns with marinated salt. In a bowl, combine red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and mix well. Now marinate the prawns in the mix for 30-45 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf, curry leaves, cumin and mustard seeds. When the seeds start to splutter, add onions, ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Cook till the onions become golden brown.
3. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and coriander powder. Mix well and then add tomatoes followed by little tomato ketchup.
4. Now add marinated prawns and mix with the masala. After few seconds, add water and then bring it to boil. Cook till the curry becomes thick.
Prawn masala curry is ready to eat! Serve it hot.
