Crispy Fish Kebab Recipe For Ramzan
The Ramzan fast has already commenced. People of the Muslim community all over the world fast from sunrise to sunset for about a month. It is one of the most difficult fast to be observed. At the end of the day, the fast is broken by consuming some of the most mouthwatering delicacies.
After the fast, most of us tend to overeat. This leads to a lot of health problems too. But eating the right food and the right quantity can actually make the fasting time fun for you. Today we have a special kebab recipe which is prepared with fish. Fish is a storehouse of nutrients and has the healthy fat content. So, even if you consume a lot of fish kebabs after the fast, you will not have to think about the calorie count. This delicious fish kebab is easy to make and tastes simply awesome.

Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- Fish- 500gms
- Chana dal- 4tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste- 2tsp
- Onion paste- 2tbsp
- Vinegar- 2tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Besan (gram flour)- 4tbsp
- Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
1. Wash the fish pieces thoroughly with water.
2. Boil the fish pieces in water for about 10 minutes. Once it cools dow,. Remove the bones and mash it properly with your hands.
3. Grind the chana dal with little water in a mixer to make a coarse paste.
4. Take the mashed fish in a bowl. Add in the chana dal paste, ginger garlic paste, salt, onion paste and vinegar to it.
5. Mix the ingredients together with your hands and divide it into 5-6 equal portions.
6. Take each portion of the mixture in your palms and make a ball. Flatten these balls between your palms in shape of a cutlet.
7. Mix the besan with little water into a thick batter.
8. Dip the kebabs in this besan batter.
9. Heat oil in a pan and fry these fish kebabs till they turn golden brown from all the sides.
