WIFW 2015: A Golden Summer By Saaj
It was a golden summer delight by Saaj. Designer Ankita gave us a brand new look at her collection which was showcased at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2015. Being a Summer /Spring collection it was glitsy. The whole ramp was lit with perfection with the sight of sequins.
Designer Ankita's collection was rich with different shades of gold. Dull gold, illuminating and a mixture of silver too. There was no accessories on the models. However, they wore gleaming sunglasses that highlighted the entire collection on the ramp.
On the other hand, since it reflected the season, most of her collection was of cool clothing. Lots of skirts were seen on the ramp. Gathered skirts with ivory crop tops, straight skirts with embellishments, box pleated skirts with loose sleeved tops and much more.
The ramp was flaming bright with Saaj. The collection was in itself too bright for the spotlights. The other thing which raised eyebrows on the ramp was the yoke skirts complemented with beautiful tops. There was not an inch of clothing which was not in gold.
Saaj By Ankita has always been a bright brand and this show on day 3 of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2015 Summer Spring collection was beautiful. Unlike the other designers who played with a lot of colours, Saaj was the only one which had a uniform link.
In the days to come we are looking for something which will out beat this collection. As of now, we are positive that Saaj is the only collection which trembled the stage in gold.
