Sonam Kapoor In Floral Shehla Saree

It has been quite some time since we saw Sonam Kapoor in a nice saree. No matter how many foreign fashion labels she sports, an Indian beauty looks her best in a saree. And we have got doubly lucky because we spotted Sonam Kapoor in a Shehla Khan saree. Personally, Sonam loves to wear Shehlaa outfits. The lace and light pastel shades really suit her. That elegant charm of chiffon reflected beautifully on Ms Kapoor as she glided into the Grazia Do event to support good friend Rahul Mishra.

Sonam Kapoor was in a saree that was dual toned. The top half comprising the pallu and part of the pleats had floral patterns on it. The bottom half of the saree was a lovely pastel pink in colour. We have seen Sonam Kapoor in a similar Shehla Khan saree before. She draped that saree during the promotions of 'Raanjhnaa'. That saree was a dual toned chiffon with the colour combination of green and pink.

On this occasion of course, the intricately designed bib styles blouse was enough to take our breath away. Sonam Kapoor went for a backless blouse with this saree. She also wore dew drop earrings, carried a round golden minaudière (clutch) and tied up her hair in a side flicked bun. We reserve the phrase 'perfect from head to toe' for such occasions.

Shehla Saree

Sonam Kapoor looked totally stunning in this Shehla Khan saree. Light pastel pink shades and floral patterns of this dual toned saree looked perfect on her.

Backless Bib Blouse

Sonam Kapoor wore a smoldering hot styled bib blouse. The blouse hung like a halter bib and was heavily embellished from behind.

Dew Drop Earrings

The earrings that Sonam Kapoor was wearing was like dew drops. The stone studded earrings looked stunning with the saree.

Golden Minaudière

This completed rounded golden clutch is a lovely example of our minaudière. This golden minaudière was a perfect match with this feminine saree.

Side Flicked Bun

Sonam Kapoor side swept her hair and then pulled it into an intricately styled bun. This allowed our full focus to be on the backless blouse.

Makeup

Sonam Kapoor went for plush pink lips and muted shades of blush. The pastel shades of her makeup brought out the light coloured saree.

Matte Gold Sandals

Sonam wore matte gold sandals with this pastel pink coloured saree. It contributes to the bling element of the saree along with the minaudière.

With Rahul Mishra

Kalki

Kalki Koechlin was looking quite stunning in this colour block outfit during the event. She wore black high heel pumps and fascinator earrings with lots of chains and chinks in it.
