Madhuri Dixit Looks Heavy In Halter Gown

Madhuri Dixit seems to be taking a decidedly modern step towards her styling. After last week's saree style on the sets of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 7, Madhuri went back to her glamorous western wardrobe. We had loved her in the red lace Tarun Tahiliani saree last week. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky this weekend. Madhuri Dixit in a gown manages to look elegant most of the times. But this Sunday was not one of her lucky days.

Madhuri Dixit in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was looking heavy and busty in this halter gown. Halters are not really best for women who are generously endowed with assets. So, we cannot figure out why Madhuri's stylist would opt for a gown that most obviously accentuates her bosom more than necessary. This maroon gown was otherwise a nice piece of designing fromInanna. We have seen Madhuri Dixit in Inanna outfits before and we have a generally positive response to the fashion label.

However, this maroon chiffon gown was just not made for the lady with a 100-watt smile. She can manage to look charming in anything see wears but this gown did sit heavily on her. The main problem with the gown was that the belt was sitting too high on Madhuri's waist making her look top heavy. The look was enhanced by a Manish Arora for Amrapali tiger teal ring and matching Shourouk earrings.

Madhuri went for a side braid with the gown and that made her look a little flat. A tied up hairstyle with this gown was not the best idea. She also went for light coffee coloured lipstick and smokey eye makeup. Madhuri Dixit's look in this gown is one one of the 'bad fashion days' we would like to put behind us. Let us hope she gives us something more cheerful to talk about next weekend.
