Kajol’s Bong Look In A Saree
Actress Kajol is one the many Bengali beauties who have reigned over Bollywood. We see the dusky actress go back to her roots every year during Durga Puja. Kajol is seen visiting the Durga Puja pandals dressed in the perfect Bengali style every year. This year too, she graced the Durga Utsav of Bandra with her gracious presence. Kajol looks stunning sarees. And if it is a traditional Bengali saree, then she looks like an ethnic Bong beauty.

It is hard to look at the stylistic elements of a celebrity with objectivity when she is dressed so traditionally. But we are not making any allowances for Mrs. Devgn. She embodied the best of traditional fashion in this ensemble. Kajol was draped in a Bengali saree. By the looks of it, the saree was Bangladeshi muslin.

The saree was golden yellow in colour and had pink details in it. The prints on the saree were in the leaf pattern. Kajol paired the saree with a pink blouse. She wore a short sleeved plain pink blouse. The saree was not draped in the traditional Bengali style but in the conventional way. However, the stunning actress did not miss giving some fine Bengali touched to her look.

At the Durga Puja, Kajol wore typical Bengali jewellery. She wore a layered necklace of gold beads. This necklace was a string of golden beads that hung in concentric layers. She also wore what is called a ‘bala' in Bengali. This is a thick bangle that looks like a ‘kada'. She skipped the earrings so that the look does not become too crowded. Kajol's hairstyle was a simply updo bun. She used pink lip colour and went for dark dramatic eyes.
