GR8 Women Awards’14: White Beauties
The GR8 Women Awards 2014 took place in the Gulf this year. In the sands of Dubai, we saw some of our hot Bollywood beauties sizzle. Many television stars attended the award function. Shriya Saran and Kangana Ranaut were at the GR8 Women Awards to make the Bollywood presence felt. And guess what? Both these ladies chose to wear white.
Kangana Ranaut wore a gown at the GR8 Women Awards 2014 and Shriya chose a saree given by her mother. But both the outfits were eye-catching and stole the show.

Kangana Ranaut's strapless gown was a stunner. The radiant white gown was from Burberry Prorsum. The lower hem of the gown fell in layers. The slit in the gown was not very high up the thigh but just high enough to reveal Kangana's strappy high heel sandals.
Kangana carried no accessories save a purse to the event. Her bubble-leather purse was light grey in colour and set off the outfit beautifully. Kangana's hair was naturally wavy. She had side parted her hair and left it loose. She used pale red lip colour to highlight her pout. Her eye makeup was rather simple; she used black eye liner.
Shriya Saran's GR8 Women Awards look was very traditional. She wore a transparent pale white saree. Shriya said that the saree was given to her by her mother. The chiffon saree had silver embroidery on the borders and the pallu. Shriya teamed up the saree with a short-sleeved silver blouse. She also wore aesthetic silver jewellery.
We particularly liked the silver hoop jhumkas that she wore. The plain silver bangles went perfectly with the simplicity of the saree. Shriya Saran wore her hair in a side braid.
Her hairstyle looked like a loose version of the French braid. But the crowning glory of her look was the pretty red bindi on her forehead. Shriya used dark black kohl to highlight her eyes. She also cut a striking image by using bright red lipstick.
Both these beauties sizzled in white at the GR8 Women's Awards 2014. Who do you think wore white better?
