Archana Rao's 'Tea.ism' Comes Alive At LFW 2014
Day 2 started with a bang at the Lakme Fashion Week 2014. As expected, Archana Rao's Frou Frou collection was colourful and bright. The designs she brought to life were polka, floral and the gigantic prints which were kind of scary at first sight.
The theme of her collection -- 'Tea.ism' -- was inspired from designs you would see at tea parties. The dresses were clear cut and so was the pencil skirt. On the ramp, the designer also added a few waistcoat collections. More than these styles, the sarees with belts were a major attraction.
Unlike other designers we have seen at the LFW 2014, Frou Frou by Archana Rao had a lot of accessories, from sling bags, tight waisted belts to junk jewellery. Loafers shoes were seen on all models displaying her collection on day 2 of LFW 2014.
Archana Rao is known for her sophisticated prints and rainbow colours. Her 'Tea.ism' collection mainly featured shades of blue, baby soft pink colours, greyish blacks and sea greens. The fabrics were of mess, but she somehow manages to focus on lace, sheer and cotton.

Sleeveless Peach Coats
The combination of colours which has been used in this collection is mind-blowing. The peach sleeveless waist coat matched with the vertical striped blue shirt and cream pant is a treat to the eyes.

Bubble Patterns
Here again the waist coat style has been used to an extreme. However, Archana Roa has played with bubble patterns on the sleek pants to create a majestic effect.

Tummy Show
The tummy show was another treat to the eyes. Mixing with shades of blue and white, this model is seen wearing a cloudy effect flared skirt and a crop top with extra detailing.

Gown Of Sheer
The plain white tight gown on the model is the perfect way to bring out the sheer loose gown. What caught our attention the most, is the heavy bubble-gum print at the border of the gown.

High Waisted Skirts
The pencil high waisted skirt is amazing, do you know why? Take a close look at the print on the skirt, it has detailed black lettering which is quite catchy.

Sheer Shirt Of Blue
The sheer buttoned shirt on the model is fabulous. The bubble print on the long sleeves is just the look we were excited to see on the ramp at LFW 2014.

Prison Styles Are In
If you are wondering how to make the most of a prison style, then here is your guide.
