Aditi Rao Hydari In Arpita Mehta Dress
Aditi Rao Hydari made her second appearance this week in blue. She attended the Retail Jewellers Trendsetter's Launch last evening. Earlier we had seen Ms Hydari in a cobalt blue suit from Zara on the Top Gear Awards night. Aditi Rao Hydari was in an Arpita Mehta dress for the occasion. Although we are not a big fan of the maxi dress
style itself, we thought Aditi Rao Hydari carried the whole outfit rather well.
Aditi Rao Hydari took to the ramp to promote some of the designs at the Retail Jeweller's Trendsetters Launch. She wore some gold jewellery with her dress to make an Indo-Western style statement. Aditi Rao Hydari's Arpita Mehta gown was a stunner but too much jewellery marred her look to some extent.
CHECK OUT ADITI RAO HYDARI AT TOP GEAR AWARDS 2014
Maxi gowns are usually for women who are slightly plump. But the slender, Aditi carried this peacock blue maxi dress very gracefully. The sleeveless dress had mirror-work and green embroidery right up to the waist. The skirt of the dress was transparent chiffon. We could see Aditi wearing pants under the skirt.
Here is a close look at Aditi Rao Hydari in this Arpita Mehta creation.

Peacock colured dress
First of all, Aditi looked ravishing in this dress because of its menagerie of peacock shades.

Mirror work
Almost all Arpita Mehta creations have mirror work. This dress was not an exception. The entire bosom of the dress had crafty embroidery.

Transparent Skirt
We particularly liked the effect of light on the transparent skirt. The blue has turned to pink with the help of some back lighting on the ramp.

Gold Jewellery
Although gold jewellery did not go with this dress, we can appreciate the designs. The gold necklace has an interesting design of connecting chains.

Scooped Back
When Aditi turned around on the ramp we could see that the outfit had a deeply scooped out back.

Without Jewellery
As you can see, Aditi looks much more elegant without the gold jewellery.

Choli Cut
The top half of this dress had a choli cut design and the skirt resembles a lehenga. We have to give full marks to Arpita Mehta for this expertly designed Indo-Western outfit.
