Fabrics From Chicken Feathers

The first commercial fabrics were created by the scientists more than 50 years ago and were made out of milk proteins, peanuts, and corn. The current study is headed by Andrew Poole, Jeffrey Church and Mickey Huson.
However the regenerated fabrics appeared and felt like the conventional protein-based fabrics such as wool and silk, but were not too viable when wet. This major issue along with advent of petroleum-based synthetic fibres, affected the popularity of the fibre and its productivity.
With regards about the environment and consumer demand, the renewable fabrics made from non-traditional agricultural materials are now a comeback according to scientists. The natural sources for these fabrics are agricultural proteins, such as keratin from scrap chicken feathers and gluten from wheat.
The strength and biodegradability of the fabrics can be improved by applying nanotechnology and chemical cross-linking, thus leading to widespread production of eco-friendly clothing, furniture upholstery and other products.
Look forward to wear cozy chicken feather sweats and wheat jeans and go green with clothes with these exotic eco friendly materials AGENCIES
