Green tea contains tannins, which form a protective layer on the skin against the skin-damaging UV rays, it repairs damaged skin cells, promotes regeneration of new skin cells and keeps the skin taut and firm.

Facial Rinse

Brew a fresh cup of green tea with used green tea bag. Allow the solution to cool in room temperature. Use the solution to wash your face. Follow it up by rinsing your face with cold water. This rinse tones, hydrates and relaxes your facial skin!
Rejuvenating Mask

Rip open two used green tea bags content in a bowl, add a tablespoon of honey and a few drops of lemon juice. Mix it into a gritty paste. Apply a thin coat to your face and neck. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then scrub and rinse it off with cold water. This green tea mask scrubs, buffs and tones tired-looking skin.
Eye Gel Mask

Take a tablespoon of green tea powder, add a teaspoon of agar agar, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 5 drops of almond oil and ½ a cup of boiling water. Mix all the ingredients together, keep stirring, so lumps don't form.
Transfer the content in a mould, you can also use an ice tray and place it in the refrigerator to solidify. Once done, remove the gel using a spoon and place it on your eyes, until the coolness seeps out. From removing puffy eyes to dark circles, this gel mask will instantly perk up your eyes.
Acne Wipe

Brew half a cup of fresh green tea. Allow the solution to cool. Add a tablespoon of water to dilute the solution. Dip a cotton ball in the solution, wring out the excess and gently dab it on the affected area. Let it naturally get absorbed into the skin. Antibacterial properties present in green tea will dry the acne right off!
Anti-ageing Mask

Mash a tablespoon of green tea leaves into a fine paste. Add a tablespoon of milk cream, a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of lemon juice to the paste. Mix well until you get a smooth consistency. Apply a thin coat to your face and neck. Let it sit until completely dry, before rinsing it off with plain water!
Face Mist

Heat a cup of water, until it comes to a boiling point. Dip a green tea bag in the water and let it simmer for the next 15 minutes. Allow the solution to cool, and when it is lukewarm, add 5 drops of lemon essential oil, 5 drops of lavender oil and 1 vitamin E capsule gel. Transfer the solution into a spray bottle. Place it in the refrigerator to cool. Spritz the solution on your tired face and let it get soaked naturally. Notice your skin feel instantly refreshed and soft!
Green Tea Body Scrub

Take 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of dried green tea leaves, 2 tablespoons of raw honey, ½ a cup of olive oil and 10 drops of lavender oil. Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients together, until you get a gritty paste. Store the content in an air-tight container and use it as your regular body scrub!
