Can You Use Your Body Scrub On Your Face?
The skin on the face and body is different and has different needs. Here's why you should pick different scrubs for both.
Believe it or not, this is a really common concern for most women. It stems from people not wanting to buy two separate scrubs for the face and body. But can you really use your body scrub on your face?

Using a body scrub on the face may seem like a good idea. After all, if it does a good job sloughing away dead skin cells on the body, it must work well on the face too, right?
This is not true at all! Often the ingredients used in body scrubs are made for the tough skin on the body and may prove to be a little too harsh for the face. Body scrubs have ingredients like sea salt or even pumice that are highly abrasive in nature.

These ingredients can be really very harsh on the face, as the skin on the face is a lot more sensitive than the body skin, and when we say a lot more sensitive, we mean A LOT.
So, here's how you can easily make a scrub that you CAN use on your face.
What You'll Need:
- Baking Soda

- Powdered Oats

- Almond oil

- Water

Make a paste out of the baking soda, almond oil and water. Add the powdered oats to it. Use this to scrub your face by gently rubbing it in a slow circular motions. This will help slough away all the dead skin cells. Your face may be a little bit red after you wash it off, but that is only temporary.
Alternatively, you can go for a simpler sugar scrub too. Mix powdered sugar with honey and olive oil for this scrub. Sugar is less abrasive than salt and is suitable for the face.

So, there you go, try these easy scrubs for the face, so that you don't even have to consider using your regular body scrub on your face!
