How To Strengthen Brittle Nails
Are your nails healthy? Well, healthy nails are supposed to be strong without any dents or unusual shades on them. They should be smooth and devoid of spots.
Nails get brittle after a particular age. Also, other factors like water exposure, lack of moisture and too much of nail polish can also damage the health of your nails.
6 Foods For Strong & Long Nails
Some of us are obsessive about cleanliness which makes us wash our hands too often. This practice may not go well with your nails. Also, when using a nail polish remover, remember that it contains chemicals which may leave your nails dry.
If you wish to strengthen brittle nails, it is important to consume foods like milk, broccoli, eggs, beans, nuts and flaxseeds. Food plays an important role in nourishing your nails.
There are some people who spend a lot of time taking care of nails but most of us are not so fortunate to be able to spend time on nail care. But, if you can just moisturise your nails occasionally, that can surely strengthen brittle nails. Just remember that brittleness is a result of dryness and moisture can prevent it.
Easy Ways To Maintain Healthy Nails
Also, it is important to prevent fungal infections in your nails. Massaging your nails with an antiseptic agent like tea tree oil can surely help in treating the fungus and moisturising your nails.
Now, let us discuss how to strengthen weak nails.

Food
Brittle nails need proper nutrients. Get some essential fatty acids through your food. Try fish or flaxseed oil. Also, get enough of vitamin B. Consume soya, barley and nuts.

Tomato Juice
If you want to strengthen your nails, you can also try tomato juice. Grind a tomato and mix a drop of rosemary oil and massage it on your nails for a minute and wash them off.

Salt
Mix some salt in a basin of water and soak your nails in it. Do this twice a week to strengthen weak nails.

Almond Oil
Almond oil contains antioxidants. Add a few drops of lemon to a teaspoon of almond oil and massage your nails with the mixture and wash your hands after a few minutes.

Argan Oil
Argan oil helps a lot in softening brittle nails. Massage your nails using a few drops of this oil and notice the difference.

Coconut Oil
