How To Get Rid Of Dark Skin?

Washing Dark Skin

A fair complexion is the most desired thing of any women. A fair skin tone carries the makeup well, highlights the dress one wears and also hides the faults in ones features. But with the kind of busy lifestyle we lead today, pampering the skin, has become like a luxury.

Well, here are some quick easy tips, for pampering your skin, which will make your skin colour lighter.

1.Water
Consumption of plenty of water all day long is one of the major sources to get a light skin tone. Water does not allow the melanin content (which makes the skin look black) to collect on your skin, thus making your skin tone lighter. Washing face with water, several times a day is also a good practice.

2.Milk
One reason why our skin looks dark is the dry skin which accumulated everyday. Milk is a natural cleanser. Cold milk applied on face and body several times, removes the dry skin and lighten the skin tone. The results can be seen in two weeks time.

3.Lemon And Honey
Lemon and honey are natural bleachers. They bleach the dark skin colour and thus lighting it. Lemon and honey pack should not be kept on the skin for more than 20 mints and should be washed with cold water.

4.Natural Scrubs
A pack of maida, milk and turmeric, is a very effective home made scrub. The scrub should be applied at night after all the days work. The face pack should be applied for half an hour and scrubbed off with cold water. This practice everyday, helps scrubbing off the dry skin and the turmeric acts as an antiseptic for all other skin problems.

5.Tomato
Tomato pulp is also a great natural bleach. Application of one whole tomato pulp everyday will give desired results within few weeks.

It should also be remembered that skin tone can be lightened only if both external and internal care is taken. Consumption of seasonal fruits, fruit juice, bitter gourd and turmeric stick regularly can work wonders for skin type and skin tone.
