By Suparna Chakaraborthy

Pimple Causes
1.Puberty – Puberty witnesses a lot of hormonal changes. During puberty there is a burst of androgen's, which increases the excretion of sebum and skin change. The sebum sometimes gets blocked, which leads to pimples.

2.Pollution – Pollution is now a major reason to cause pimples. Pollution blocks the skin pores with dirt, which not only blocks the sebum flow but also causes infections. Together they cause pimples.

3.Stress – Stress is a mental state, which leads to hormonal changes and increases the flow of body chemicals. This directly has an impact on skin.

4.Cosmetics – Sometimes excess use of moisturizers or make up can be a major cause of pimples. A bit of makeup, does not block the flow of sebum but an excess make up blocks it. The chemicals of the product causes infection and thus erupts a pimple.

5.Hereditary – Pimples can also be genetic. Passed on form parents to child. Hereditary pimple problems generally are not curable.

6.Inappropriate Diet – Diet is one of the main reasons among the teens for pimples. Oily stuff and junk food has an ill effect on the digestive system which leads to body problems and effects the sensitive skin of face, the result is a pimple.

Steps taken to prevent these can actually lead to cure the occurrence of pimples. Though if it is a hereditary problem, curing it is a problem but it can definitely be reduced.
