Four in Hand
This is one of the easiest methods used to tie a tie. For this you will need to pull up your shirt collars, and ensure that the shirt is buttoned to the top. Put the tie along your neck, and let the wide end of tie be on your most flexible hand. Now you need to locate the seam on the narrow side of your tie. Once that is done, let the wide end of the tie pass over the narrow end, and again juggle to put the wide end behind the narrow end. Now get the wide end from around the small knot on the tie. This should be done in clockwise motion. Finally pull in the wide angle of the tie from the loop present and then pull it closer to the neck. There you have tied the tie. Wasn’t it easy?

Half Windsor

This knot is considerably bigger than four in hand and takes the shape of a triangle. Because of the sleek look it gives out, this method of tying the tie is accepted by most people. Keep the wide side to the right while the tie is around your neck, and the length of the wide side should be thrice that of the narrow side. Now pull the wide side over the narrow side and then from under the narrow side. Finally pull the wide side from inside the loop and pull your tie closer.

Traditional Windsor
This tie tying style brings with it class and elegance. Keep the tie along your neck with the wide side to the right of your body. Now let the wide end cross over the narrow side before you pull your tie through a loop. Now allow the tie to come down; make sure the wide end is to the left of the narrow end. You will now need to get the wide end to get under the narrow end and then finally pull it inside out. Now again cross the wide end over the narrow end of your tie and then allow the wide end to move under the loop. Now let the wide end be folded and then finally tie the knot to the tie

Pratt
This is yet another method of tying your tie. Wide end to the right and the narrow end to your left, while the tie is lying inside out! Bring wide end beneath the narrow end and then above the loop. Again get the wide end under the narrow end to create a loop. Now allow the wide end to pass over the narrow end from the left to the right and then finally get the wide end to pass through the loop. Pull the knot closer to your neck. This way your tie is neatly tied to your neck.
