How To Prevent Oily Eyelids From Ruining Your Make-up
Glossy eyelids might be a popular make-up trend right not but having oily eyelids is no fun. The distinctive shine on your eyelids not only make your face look more oily but also make the process of make-up tad bit difficult for you. With oily eyelids, getting the eye make-up to stay on for long becomes a task.

Dealing with oily eyelids can be pretty frustrating, to be honest. And with the festive season coming up, you don't want your make-up to melt off in a couple of hours, do you? So, here are some super-awesome tips to prevent the oily eyelids from ruining your make-up.

Use A Non-Greasy Moisturiser
We always say a good skincare routine ensures a good make-up day. And the solution to your oily eyelids is also hidden in your skincare. Use a non-greasy moisturiser to kick-start the make-up process. Look for a moisturiser that has non-comedogenic ingredients. It will moisturise your face without adding any grease to it. Let the moisturiser sink into your skin for a few minutes before starting with make-up application.

Primer Your Eyelids
Just like the primer on the T-zone of your face gives you a flawless make-up application, eye primer helps to keep the greasiness at bay and give you a smooth and long-lasting make-up experience. Apply a few dots of eye primer on your lids and blend it in using your fingers. Wair for a few seconds for the primer to melt into your skin before moving in with the eyeshadow. The eye primer helps to prevent oily eyelids and the eyeshadow fresh and beautiful throughout the day.

Use Powder Products
If you have oily eyelids, stay away from cream eyeshadow. Cream eyeshadows though look beautiful but can add to the shine on your eyelids. Also, there is a high chance of your make-up melting off with a cream eyeshadow. So, stick to powder eyeshadow. The powder eyeshadow will balance the excess oil on your lids and remain on your eyelids for long.

Blot The Shine Away
Carry blotting paper with you at all times if you have oily eyelids. Blotting paper is truly life-saver for those with oily skin. It absorbs the excess oil from the skin, leaving it grease-free and fresh. If you feel your eyelids getting shiny through the day, put out the blotting paper and gently blot away the grease. It really can't get simpler than this.
