As the name says, concealer covers noticeable dark circles, dark spots, and freckles on the skin. Concealer adds a long-lasting perfectness to a tired and dull appearance.

On the other hand, contour is used to enhance and highlight the natural features of the face - like its shape - and makes it distinct. Contouring has been a beauty secret for actresses since ages, but now it is being taken up by all the fashionistas out there.

There are 4 types of concealers - Liquid (for light coverage on the face), Stick, Compact (for narrow or particular areas of the face) and an Eye Concealer. Under-eye concelaer is less dry and thick in texture, than other types of concealers.

Right contouring can be done using your fingers as well. In fact, using a brush for contouring increases the scope of cakey makeup. Those who do not want to use your hands can take the help of a stiff-pointed tip brush to just let the contour touch only the tip of your acne, blemish or dark spot.

Steps for face concealing
a) Concealing starts with uniform foundation application all over the face.
b) Take contour on the back of your hand and blend it into a paste. With the tip of a brush, apply this on your pimple or acne. Use your finger to blend it with the base of foundation. Ensure you touch and apply the contour with very gentle massage that does not hurt your skin disruption.
c) Set the contour with a powder.

Steps for face contouring
a) Start with a moisturizer and foundation.
b) Suck your cheeks in, take the angular brush and apply the contour only on the hollow region of your cheekbones. Light strokes of the contour towards the ears will sort the purpose.
c) Contour can also be applied on the jawline and like a slimming shadow to hide the double chin.
d) Do coat your contour with a bronzing powder.
