Natural Lipstick: 8 Ways To Use It
Natural lipstick is something that will never be out of fashion. Nude lipstick can be worn with almost any outfit and this is what makes it versatile. Recently, we have seen a lot celebrities sport bright red and plum coloured lipstick this season. We are also calling 'neon' colours the latest makeup trend. However, nude lipsticks are forever 'in'.
You just need to make sure that you are wearing natural lipstick in the right way and with the right outfit. If you leave your lips bare with a very glamorous red saree or an orange gown, it would look totally unflattering. Nude lipstick allows you to keep your makeup subtle and simple. But you cannot use natural lips colour for every occasion or outfit.
Natural lipstick is primarily a day wear. So during the day, you can wear it smartly with almost all colours. Kristen Stewart uses natural lipstick colours even when she was seen wearing a neon coloured dress. So, it is not like you need to use bright coloured lipstick with bright clothes all the time. Moreover, natural lipstick looks quite suave even in the evening. If you match it with a sheer dress or white shirt, you will look very elegant.
Here are 8 different looks with which you can use natural lipstick.

The Wet Look
Kristen Stewart appears to be in a wet look with heavy gelled hair and almost bare face. The dark black kohl is very well contrasted by the nude lipstick.

Day Out In A Saree
A saree does not always have to be glamorous. Ash wore this simple black and white saree with a natural lipstick and neutral mineral makeup for a day event. We can make out that Ash has used makeup but it is not evident in a loud way.

With Dull Colours
When you are purposely picking sombre colours like beige, grey or cream for a subdued look then plain gloss or natural lip colours are your best bet. No one wears nude lip colours better than the Princess, Kate Middleton.

Black, Bold And Natural
Sonali Bendre was walking the ramp in this gorgeous black dress but her lips are coloured with a shinny natural lipstick here. You can use natural lip colours with black dresses very safely.

The Formal Look
Katrina is wearing a white coat dress for a formal event. Whenever you have a formal or rather official occasion, prefer nude colours over any other kind of makeup.

The Earthy Look
Vidya Balan sported this bright coloured cotton saree for a red carpet. But, since the look is earthy and saree is made of cotton, natural lips go very well with it.

The Jeans-Shirt Look
When you are going casual with a jeans and shirt or t-shirt, always use natural colours. Karisma Kapoor look stunning with minimal makeup while she is wearing jeans and white shirt.

The Glamorous Party Look
Sometimes, even when you are wearing a glamorous dress like this one, nude lip colours do wonders. If there is too much shimmer and shine in your dress, play your lips down.
