Eye Makeup Like Kareena Kapoor: Steps
Highlighting your eyes is one of the most important makeup essentials. The more you highlight your beautiful eyes, the more perfect you look. You can highlight your eyes differently on all occasions. What matters is the amount of eye makeup you have applied. For instance, if it's a day time occasion, you can keep it minimal by just applying kajal or eyeliner. However, loud eye makeup or shimmery eyes looks great for evenings.
Smokey eyes and doe eye makeup are trending these days. Many celebrities have been seen highlighting their eyes with dark kohl and black eye shadow. For example, take Kareena Kapoor. The actress always highlights her eyes with a dark line of black eyeliner and kajal. Steps to get eye makeup like Kareena Kapoor:
Step 1: Clean your eyes with a cleanser and follow up with a toner. Let the skin dry for few minutes.
Step 2: Take a plum brown eye shadow and with a fluffy eyeshadow brush, apply it on the upper eyelid. Blend over the edges and cover the crease line. Now apply on the lower lash line. Do not smudge it under the eyes.
Step 3: Apply a shimmery bronze eye shadow from the lash line till the brow line with a large fluffy eye shadow brush.
Step 4: Now apply a black matte eye shadow on the upper and lower lash lines till the ends (tear ducts). At the outer part of the upper lash line, draw a thick line.
Step 5: You smudge your eye shadow on the lash lines. Use a pencil brush to smudge the black eye shadow a little. Do not over-smudge lower lash line. Make sure the ends of both the lash line are covered with the black eye shadow. When smudging the upper lash line, you can use little eye shadow to darken the lash line.
Step 6: Curl your top and bottom eyelashes with a mascara. Curl them towards outside so that they look fuller and fluffy.
Step 7: Now draw a thick line of kajal/kohl on the lower lash line. Cover till the end (eye ducts).
Step 8: With a fluffy eye shadow brush, apply compact under the eyes. This prevents the kajal from smudging under the eyes. Touch up at times to maintain the eye makeup.
