What's In Your Makeup Kit For Travel?

Makeup Kit For Travel
Do you travel often? If you do then do you carry the same makeup kit you have at home? You are committing a serious error. Makeup essentials may be same but when you are on the move your requirements change. Makeup on travel is a special clause in your must have list of cosmetic products. While traveling you need a pack a separate bunch of cosmetics, distinct from your daily use stuff. If you travel frequently then you can keep this makeup kit more or less permanently packed so that you can just pick and go.

Here are some of the basic tit-bits of makeup for travel that you must carry with you.

What Your travel Makeup Kit Must Have?

1. Waterproof Makeup: While on the move trust only water proof cosmetics. Be it your eyeliner or your lipstick, it needs to be waterproof to be travel proof. You my say that it is not the rainy season but that imagine an afternoon under the tropical sun sweating profusely and washing off all your makeup in smudges. That ghastly sight should convince you of the importance of this point.

2. Sunscreen Makeup: If you are going to travel under the open sunlight then you need makeup that provides you with sun blocking properties. It does not matter if you are in the Arctic Circle, sun damage can occur in the coldest of climates. At least your compact powder should have a decent enough SPF reading to protect your skin.

3. Toner: Never travel without a toner. It is one of the most basic cosmetics at any place, even home. But at home you can make do with other alternatives like rose water etc. while traveling this kind of replacement becomes a problem. You need a toner just as well as you need a face wash.

4. Makeup Remover and Cotton Wool: This is one of the most important cosmetics we forget to pack while traveling. The result of such negligence is acne, bad skin, patchy skin etc. you need to remove your makeup properly at the end of the day so that your skin can breathe at night. At night we usually slap on cream to remove makeup and wake up with pimple.

5. Small Samples: Never carry huge files of lip colour or gloss if you are traveling. It might spill over and damage your other makeup accessories. Keep a separate small size range of cosmetics for your travel bag.

6. Plastic Bottles: If you intend to carry delicate things like nail colour or nail polish remover bottles made out of glass in your cosmetics bag then be very careful. One bottle of nail paint remover can ruin all your expensive cosmetics. Either carry plastic bottles or stuff the empty spaces with cotton that you are not going to use.

Your makeup kit for travel can be best defined as compact but complete. So follow these beaty tips for women accordingly.
