Now you would think of using water – proof make – ups. Yes, of course these water – resistant make – ups are a boon during this season. I would put down here some of the best tips to look stunning, when it's heavily pouring.
- Make sure that you cleanse your face and rub ice cubes on your face for 5- 10 minutes. This will reduce the sweating rate and it will help holding the make – up on your face for longer period.
- If you have oily skin then, use astringent after the ice cube massage. For women with normal to dry skin can go for toner.
- Applying foundation is not a good idea during this season. Instead go for face powder.
- When you pick up those eye shadows, opt for colours like light beige, brown, pink or pastel. This can be applied with a thick layer of eyelinear and two coats of water proof mascara.
- Go for light colours on your lips, buy those light pink or brown shades and apply with sheer gloss.
- Use water – based moisturisers so as to take care of your acne, oily skin and water loss due to prespiration.
- During monsoon it's suggested to have simple hair styles, as it's difficult to maintain heavy hair styles and hair accessories. Go for simple and nice hair cuts. Shoulder length hair cuts are preferable.
- If you are one of those women who love to wear blush, then make sure that you buy those soothing, light colours like brown, peach or pink.
- When you choose your wardrobe, go for light cotton fabric, capris or three – fourths. Jeans are not the good choice for this season.
- The umbrellas or rain coats that you pick during monsoon can make you look beautiful, pick those bright happy colours.
- Say a big no to those heels or boots, instead go for funky and cool sneakers or sandals.
Now hit the streets with those lovely umbrellas.
