Some people have extreme hair loss in winters and just don't know how to go about it. Well, here are tips on how you can deal with it.
The winters can be great for your hair, but they often come with their own set of worries like hair loss. Hair loss happens throughout the year usually, but tends to get worse for a lot of people in winters. To know how to prevent hair fall in winters, read along!
It is said that around 100 strands of hair falling every day is considered to be normal. But if it is anything more than that, you're in real trouble. But, not to worry, we've got you covered with these few tips.
Hair loss can be the most daunting of all hair problems. It is indeed really sad and painful to be losing out on your precious strands. But, somehow it just doesn't seem to stop, especially during winters.
It has something to do with the cold making the strands turn weaker at the roots. Sometimes, even factors like dandruff can trigger hair loss. Dandruff is a huge problem that most women face during winters. And sometimes, this dandruff can trigger scalp infections, which in turn can cause hair loss.
So, here's how you can deal with hair loss during winters, take a look.
1. Comb Before Washing: Always comb your hair before you wash it, to prevent any tangles before the wash and reduce unnecessary tugging during hair washing. Wet hair is extremely sensitive.

2. Comb Every Night: Comb your hair every night before bed. This makes it a lot smoother during the morning and helps you prevent hair fall as well.

3. Use Lukewarm Water: Only use lukewarm water to wash your hair, no matter how cold it gets, never use hot water. Hot water can cause even more hair fall. This is the most important tip on how to deal with hair loss in winters.

4. Paraben-free Shampoos: Use shampoos that are free of parabens and sulphates. Sometimes, harsh chemicals on the hair can also really cause hair to fall excessively.

5. Condition Only The Ends: Use a conditioner only on your hair ends, as conditioning the roots can lead to hair fall.

6. Let It Air-Dry: Steer clear of all the heat-styling tools and let your hair air-dry as much as possible. Heat on your hair can also lead to hair fall, especially during the winter months.
