Which Hair Colour Suits You?
Hair colouring is the trend which is ruling the fashion trends. Several brands with several promises advertise their products and every colour included the weird ones seem to look good. The important thing to remember is that colours looking good on the models on TV will not necessarily look good on each one of us. A wrong decision while colouring your hair and you are in a fix for at least 6 months. So, make a wise hair colour decision.
Types Of Hair Colour
Before choosing your hair colour, it is important to know, what are different types of hair colours.
1.Permanent Hair Colour - The permanent hair colour has hydrogen peroxide. This lifts your natural hair colour and opens up your hair cuticles. The artificial colour then reaches the cortex and colours your hair. This helps the colour to stick on for at least a year.
2.Semi-Permanent Colour – Such colours don't lift your natural hair colour, they only work on your hair tone. They have little amount of peroxide which opens up the cortex slightly. Semi-permanent hair colour lasts only 20 washes.
3.Temporary Colouring – Such hair colouring is done by using vegetable and other natural colouring agents. They only dye your hair and fades away with few washes.
How To Choose My Hair Colour?
1.The first step to choose a hair colour for you is to analyse your skin tone. The hair colour should match your skin tone. If you have a light skin tone then platinum, cool ash and chestnut brown will suit you.
2.If you have an olive complexion than colours like dark browns, deep burgundy reds and bluish black will make you look stunning.
3.If your skin tone is peach coloures than beige blonds, strawberry reds, and pale golden brown are for you.
4.People with dark complexion can flaunt coloures like shades of blond, chestnut or honey tones also will look great.
5.Red is presently the sexiest hair colour and matched with any light skin tone. Bright red is good to flaunt a funky look but for regular use a lighter tinge of red looks great.
6.Dark hair colours look good only for people who have deep olive skin tone.
So, next time you want to colour your hair, check your skin tone first.
